Jacqueline was inspired to create a garden for carers of the terminally ill after her own experiences of caring for her late husband. She gave up her life as a city accountant to look after her husband and began growing plants and using gardening as a form of therapy. Her daughter will be creating stained glass panels to place in the garden which also includes water to emphasise the reflection of light.

The garden will include a path of granite sets with an arch leading to a patio. Plants have been chosen to provide year-round interest, including low growing alpines, herb, ferns, reeds, and evergreen shrubs against a colour scheme of blues, purples and white to calm the senses. The Mediterranean feel of the patio area is complimented by tall euphorbias and an olive tree. Ground cover roses and jasmine perfume the air. Bamboo acts as a screen and to provide soothing sounds. Plants will also attract a number of nectar-loving insects.

From the seated area the Hunky Dory glass panel designs can be viewed - the agate and rippled stained glass refract the light and compliment the hues of nature. A fountain is made with a hidden reservoir. Panels on the back wall can be lit at night-time to create warmth. The mirrored panel reflects the garden giving the impression that its boundaries are extending to infinity.
