Impatiens: The Next Generation

This design is a contemporary arrangement of rectangular boxes made from painted timber arranged to give a range of heights around a simple bench seat. The containers display some new forms of Impatiens walleriana that are now becoming available in vegetatively-propagated cultivars These include plants with very different habits ranging from spreading types bred for use in hanging baskets, to compact plants for small containers and vigorous types that are more sun and weather tolerant.
