The inspiration for The Blue Garden by Pantiles Nurseries is the recent re-branding of the company. It wanted to create a garden that would illustrate more than 25 years of experience while representing a willingness to embrace modern thinking and the latest in design.
The design developed from a central focal point, an oculus shape, representing vision and focus, with the garden’s seating area at its centre. Respect for past experience is shown by the traditional and formal planting, with future opportunity represented by the variety of levels and surfaces and more unusual planting of a contemporary nature. Water seamlessly links the past and future.
