The Homebase Living Room brings a new twist to the modern trend of making the garden another room of the house. Take a glimpse into this unique outdoor room through oval moon gates in a lime-rendered wall - no two views are the same. The garden incorporates a contrasting mix of contemporary design and traditional material, enhanced by a diverse range of planting styles. Living furniture and furnishings take the form of bamboo wallpaper and a thyme rug complement a chamomile sofa with a summer bedding cushion. Just like the home, the kitchen area forms the heart of the garden, with a distinctive cooking station and drinks chiller for entertaining. Seasonal vegetables and herbs are grown in containers to provide the essentials of a kitchen garden.

Natural travertine pavers link the contemporary living area to a sunken terrace, which provides a retreat, a place to sit, reflect and enjoy the gentle colour scheme of the planting.
