This small garden is inspired by and uses flora native or typical of wild Cornwall, especially Clodgy Point near St Ives. Robert remembers staying there with his grandparents where they would always walk to Clodgy Point and look out to sea putting the world to rights and eating pasties! This is a garden for those who wish to encourage wildlife but live in a city.
Cornish wildflowers nestle in the stone wall and a bench (which folds out into a table) overlooks the sea. The plants aim to recreate the effect of sky, sea and hills evocative of Cornwall. The garden is designed to be practical and low maintenance, organic and attractive to wildlife. It has been built from sustainable resources.
