This garden brings to life Banrock Station, the place. From a run-down sheep station purchased in 1998, Banrock Station Wines has repaired the natural wetlands and woodlands in this part of South Australia, and created a sustainable vineyard of 250 hectares nestled between these two ecosystems. The garden provides a calm environment for visitors to enjoy Banrock wines while learning about their conservation efforts which have led to more than $3million being contributed towards 60 global conservation projects in 12 countries.

The design has been inspired by contemporary Australian art based on traditional ground paintings, where concentric circles were used to symbolise a place for sitting, and adjoining straight lines to signify travel. The garden takes you on a journey through the wetlands, with adjacent aquatic banks encircling the contemplative rest stops. Marginals and native plants are surround by red earth and a bird hide serves as an information centre.
