This is a garden of well-being - vibrant, dynamic, positive, uplifting and revitalising. It is a place of rhythm, sound, colour, play of light and contrasting textures, which awakens the senses. Amid the movement, wide slabs of mellow stone that warm in the sunshine provide structure, helping us to feel at ease. Strong upright forms shoot skywards, tall stems and timber posts, lifting the gaze and the spirits. The garden is designed for relaxation. The sail awning and rustling bamboos softly enclose the paved seating-entertaining area, where you can rest a while and look out towards the cascading waterfall backed by silvery eucalyptus. You can soak up the sights, sounds and scents and feel re-energised.
Colourful and aromatic medicinal herbs are planted in curvaceous beds with sweeping, fluid shapes. A stone causeway, dividing the large, eddying pool from the cool stillness of the smaller water lily pond, invites you to explore. The garden breathes with the wind. It is a place where you can connect with the outdoors, feel at one with yourself and your environment, and nurture your health and well-being.
