Conceptual gardens

Sponsored by Cater Allen Private Bank

Conceptual Gardens was a new category last year. It is open to students and graduates of garden or landscape design. The exhibitors are challenged to create innovative gardens that push the boundaries of design. All the Conceptual Gardens designers are awarded a grant of £6,000 and must demonstrate that their design can be created within this capped budget.

Marcus Green Horticultural Design: Freedom of Movement

Rik Godfrey: After Malevich - A Garden of Non-Objectivity

Sim Flemons and John Warland: The Fallen

Tony Smith: In Digestion

Steven Wooster: Advertisingspace

Cater Allen Private Bank is proud to sponsor the conceptual gardens for the second year running. Not only was last year the first time that aspirational young garden designers were able to enter this new category and demonstrate their skills, but it was also the first time that Cater Allen had such a high level of involvement in a horticultural event. The experience was such a success that the company's decision to continue its sponsorship for a second year was a foregone conclusion.
