This inspiring space aims to portray some of the formality of Waddesdon using edible plants, flowers and fruits, and demonstrate that even with the smallest plot you can achieve a productive and sensual space to excite the senses. Terracotta pots are planted with fragrant plants such as lavender and rosemary, under-planted with trailing tomatoes, nasturtium, beans and viola, and spaces filled with chilli peppers, exotic leaf lettuce, strawberries, bush tomatoes and basil. A low fragrant rosemary hedge surrounds the space, and two chamomile plants cut through the area. All plants are grown using natural pest control and in peat-free compost.
