Please note that although the car park opens at 5pm, the show entrances do not open until 6pm. Entertainment will start at 7pm. Please note that the Palace Gate closes at 8.20pm.

Exhibitors’ opening times

Many exhibitors will be selling plants and other gardening items for the first half of the evening, until the Floral Marquees close at 9.30pm. We therefore recommend that you view the exhibits and gardens before you settle down to your picnic/meal.

Catering and pre-booking hampers

For Garden Party Ticket holders who do not wish to bring their own picnic, there are several catering facilities throughout the show site, which are open between 6pm and 10.30pm.

Loch Fyne Restaurant

Enjoy the delights of the champagne and seafood restaurant while overlooking the Hampton Court Palace Long Water - an ideal venue to sip chilled champagne and enjoy superb fresh seafood.

Tapas Restaurant

Sample delicious Spanish tapas served with traditional wines, while soaking up the Gala Preview night atmosphere and overlooking the splendid Palace Grounds.

Pre-booking: To pre-book a table at the Loch Fyne or Tapas restaurants, call 020 8601 2043 after 12 February 2007. Limited pre-bookable space is available, with other tables retained for guests who enquire on the evening.

Cheese and Wine Bar

Savour the tastes of fine British and French wines, accompanied by a selection of tasty cheeses.

Or do you just need a cup of coffee, a cold Pimms or a quick snack? These can be enjoyed at the other facilities located throughout the showground.

Sodexho Prestige Arrival Hampers

If you wish to picnic, but would prefer not to bring your own, why not collect one on arrival? These superb Arrival Hampers must be pre-booked; for more information contact Sodexho Prestige on 020 8601 2043 after 12 February 2007.

Raffle

If you would like to help us raise further funds for the supporting charities on the evening, please look for the raffle sellers to win some fantastic prizes.

Prizes will be available to collect from the Kings Food Court until 9.30pm.

Dress code

Please note that this is an outdoor event on open parkland and is subject to varying weather and ground conditions. We therefore advise that you check the weather forecast, consider the effects of any previous inclement weather on surface conditions, and wear suitable clothing and footwear. The dress code for Private Hospitality Chalets and Dinner Ticket holders is black tie. For all other ticket types the evening is smart casual. Ladies are advised not to wear high heels! Alternatively, get in the mood and dress in the style of this years theme - the fabulous 50s.

Tickets

Once we have received payment, your guest names, dietary requirements and table plans (if required), we will send your tickets (in the form of a swing tag) by Royal Mail first class post one month prior to the event. Enclosed with your tickets will be a map of the showground, which will list the timings and locations of the entertainment, car park pass(es), Show Catalogue and Souvenir Brochure voucher(s) and, if applicable, Champagne vouchers.
