To celebrate the working life of a Sussex farmer, this is a garden that is suitable for a person to retire to. The garden has references to his profession in an imaginative way where the horse related links can be obvious, subtle and obscure. Collected ‘horsey’ materials will be recycled in the design.
The garden tells the story of the farmer’s working life where plants can be grown to eat, but will also maintain the ornamental planting because of its equine associations.
