Drought-tolerant plants from seed
A hot summer need not desiccate the flower garden, as many showy, long-flowering plants that revel in dry conditions are easy to raise from seed. The image shows a collection of drought-tolerant annuals, biennials and perennials that flower in their first year from seed.
Material was selected from the Thompson & Morgan trial ground.
