Hollies (Ilex)
The range of hollies in gardens has been greatly extended in recent years. Evergreen sorts are valued for their foliage, and both they and deciduous ones for their brightly coloured berries. While there is a representative selection at RHS Garden Wisley, the National Plant Collection is held at Rosemoor.
