Reproduction or redistribution of digital data or products outside the licensee's organisation or entity is expressly forbidden.
None of the data obtained in digital form from the Royal Horticultural Society's Herbarium at Wisley may be electronically duplicated on magnetic or optical media for use by others in whole or in part without the permission of the Royal Horticultural Society.
Permission is granted to persons affiliated with academic and non-profit making organizations to use the Royal Horticultural Society's data obtained via the internet for scientific and scholarly pursuits only. Publications, reports and other articles resulting from the information so received must acknowledge the Royal Horticultural Society's Herbarium as the source. If the licensee has modified the data in any way, they are obligated to describe the types of modifications they have performed on the hard copy. The licensee must specifically agree not to misrepresent RHS data sets, nor to imply that changes they made were approved by the Royal Horticultural Society.
The Herbarium would expect reprints of articles resulting from the use of this website.
