Gardening
is high on the list of Britain's most popular pastimes and
garden visiting is an important way of finding inspiration.
RHS members can enjoy free access to more than 140 gardens in the UK, 23 in Europe and one in the USA (full details appear in the RHS Members' Handbook) plus the RHS gardens at Wisley in Surrey, Rosemoor in Devon, Hyde Hall in Essex and Harlow Carr in North Yorkshire.

and is taken from RHS Garden Finder 2006-2007 (ISBN 1845250184, price £12.99). More
To find details of a particular garden enter the name or
part of the name in the first box. For a list of gardens in
any county simply select a county and search.
To narrow down the search tick any of the additional criteria
such as 'plantsman' and then search. Choose from the list
of gardens returned and click on 'details' for a description
of the garden, opening times, entry fees and facilities.

RHS Events
Many of the gardens within the Free Access Scheme also hold events in association with the RHS. To find out if a garden that you are planning to visit contributes to this varied programme view the RHS Event Finder for a searchable listing by region.
