During the tour we will give you an insight as to how our scientists carry out research to answer major questions for gardeners, as well as the contribution we have made over the 100 years we have been working in the Laboratory. Areas of interest will include: - Our insect specimen collection, what we know about the biodiversity of Wisley and our plants for bugs research. - Our important collection of scientific books and journals - Our plant disease research, looking at honey fungus, sudden oak death and similar fungal problems, as well as our collection of fungal cultures. - Our internationally recognised herbarium of cultivated plants and the work we do to compile the RHS Plant Finder.
