The Bruntwood Garden

Show Features

Did you know...

  • Two distinct garden styles can be seen within the space - formal, neat and clipped at the rear, yet spilling over with colourful, cottage garden blooms at the front
  • Clean lines dominate the contemporary entertaining space. Here, the paving blends into the lawn, while blocks of paving break into the turf

About the garden

Bruntwood, show sponsors of RHS Flower Show Tatton Park, have created a space to showcase the work they do in creating thriving cities. They are bringing together their community partners, customers and colleagues to host a series of workshops, performances and talks to help animate the space.

The design of the garden takes inspiration from their previous gardens, The Bruntwood Field Office and The Bruntwood Experiment. Taking the best aspects of each, they have created a sustainable and usable garden that promotes the greening of our urban environments and offers a diverse space that could be used for working, holding events and bringing people together.

It champions culture by staging a series of performances, talks and workshops from some of Bruntwood’s customers, colleagues and community partners including City of Trees, Manchester Youth Zone, the Hallé Orchestra and Manchester International Festival.
