Tim Fowler Garden Design & TJS Landscapes | Forgotten but not Overlooked

The RHS Show Tatton Park set in acres of Cheshire countryside is famous for its friendly atmosphere, vibrant displays and inventive ideas to take home. Bursting with colour and creativity, this entertaining event pushes the boundaries of a traditional gardening show, acts as a platform for fresh design talent and presents the very best in community gardening.

  • As well as the popular large show gardens and smaller back to back gardens, a highlight for many visitors is the RHS/Ball Colegrave National Flower Bed Competition, where local authorities and colleges show their skills in seasonal bedding.
  • Tatton is again playing host to the fabulous displays of The British Florist Association.
  • There are two exciting new garden categories for 2009, the Tatton Park Young Designer of the Year and the Visionary Gardens.

The Wonderful World of Vegetables Competition

The Cheshire Schools Growing Competition this year features colourful and interesting vegetables grown by local schoolchildren. The initiative is to help children understand where vegetables come from and encourage them to see them in new and exciting ways. The seeds were kindly donated by Unwins Seeds and the public will be asked to vote for their favourite container.

The Summer Fruit and Vegetable Competition

We are thrilled that this hugely popular event has moved to Tatton Park this year. The competition is open to everyone, so if you think your beans are the business or your cherries champion, why not have a go? Copies of the schedule are available from Georgina Barter, RHS, 80 Vincent Square, London SW1P 2PE or email her
