The Pantaloons' History of Britain will be performed by a motley group of narrators, each with their own spin on the country's history. Harold II and William the Conqueror don't see eye to eye. Henry VIII decides five marriages just isn't enough. Queen Victoria is most certainly not amused. Combining the irreverent sketch comedy style of Horrible Histories with snippets of Shakespeare and other literary accounts, this show races around through the centuries with The Pantaloons' distinctive chaotic energy
- This is an outdoor event so please wear appropriate clothngBettys Tea house will be open for refreshments at the interval serving hot and cold drinks plus snacks. Feel free to bring your own picnic to enjoy during the performance.Deck chairs will be available to hire on the evening for £4.00 a chair. These will be available to purchase on a first come, first serve basis on the night of the performance.
