The Paperbark & Thorner garden is a calming, reflective space that draws on the Spanish Moorish gardens and modern design themes.
It is formal and uncluttered, with cleanlines and crisp planting - a sidestepping of life’s complexities and entanglements.
The continuity of life is represented by the three lines of black slate that run from the rusted iron boulders, and are lifted into the clean vertical lines of the stainless steel sculptures by three jets of water.
The purpose of the garden is to demonstrate that a strong design theme can be created in a limited space, while retaining simplicity andpurity.
The stone featured on the garden has been supplied by Lapicida.
