Billy the Seal
After being accidentally caught off the Irish Coast in a trawler net, Billy the Seal was presented to Cardiff Corporation in 1912, and placed in Victoria Park Lake. People would visit the seal from all over Cardiff, and the bed celebrates her life and inextricable links to the country.
