The flower bed illustrates the flow of water from the spa in the Pittville Pump Rooms, a grade I listed Regency building. Here, the spa, which is said to have health giving properties, was discovered in 1716, and was even given patronage by King George in 1788. The bed shows a woman sampling the famous spa water.
