The Mulberry Bush

This display celebrates the famous Here we go round the mulberry bush children’s nursery rhyme, which began life in the 1750’s as inmates of Wakefield Prison used to exercise round a mulberry bush within the prison grounds; the bush is preserved and still thrives at the prison today.
A simple yet colourful planting scheme features as well as a pathway boasting the lettering of the rhyme and a 3-D sculpture of the famous mulberry bush.
