Long Hot Summer is a contemporary Mediterranean garden. It features an open reclaimed timber structure, cloaked in a stainless steel net that allows vines to climb up and over it, providing shade from the heat of the Mediterranean sun. Plump cushions offer an invitation to lounge in comfort and enjoy the sights and sounds of summer.
Long rectangular stepping stones extend through Mediterranean-inspired planting and over the pond that surrounds the front of the garden, giving that area a cooler, more tranquil atmosphere. The rear of the garden is enclosed by mature olive trees, which are densely underplanted with phormiums.
