This garden has been created to highlight AstraZeneca’s contribution to the community. AstraZeneca takes steps to ensure that it is a good neighbour, supports local causes including sport and leisure, and promotes science and education.
This garden is a snippet of a larger parkland scheme set in a Cheshire suburb. The signpost encourages you to explore a science and nature trail, or guides you to an art installation and sports facilities.
The theme of the planting is woodland conservation, with new trees planted amongst more established trees. A second tier of shrubs protects a woodland carpet of ground cover plants and ferns, and a clipped hedge is punctuated by flowering woodbine.
