This is a courtyard garden in which to relax and refresh. It is designed in an ornamental, Portuguese style, featuring a floating island deck enclosed by raised planting.
To quench the thirst of those using the garden there is a sustainable supply of fresh produce in the form of herbs and fruit; a citrus tree provides a slice for a G&T and Hordeum provides the means to brew beer. A central water feature helps to ‘cool’ the garden down, while a modern arbour provides a neat shady corner.
