This sensory garden is designed for The Children’s Hospice South West, and aims to raise awareness and funds for the charity.
As well as stimulating the children’s senses, with plants specific to touch, colour, scent or taste, plants have also been used that attract wildlife. It is a peaceful garden, and wheelchair friendly with raised planters and tall herbaceous plants. A living willow arch provides the entrance to the garden and an ash seat provides a magical place for children, with water pouring out the side from a natural bole.
