Market Stall
A fabulous market stall filled with fresh produce made from bedding plant material represents Newcastle-under-Lyme's thriving market town since 1173. It was then that King Henry II granted the town its first Royal Charter. In 1280 it expanded and moved to its current site and to this date there is still a market six days a week.
