Cracking Flower Bed
Designers Alan Rampling and Tony Lewis wrote this poem to describe their flower bed entry inspired by the creator of Wallace and Gromit, Nick Park, Honorary Freeman of the City of Preston:
Trying to sleep and counting sheep, Wallace lies alone in his room.
A shortage of cheese and a desire to please,
sees Gromit blasting off to the moon.
Losing his way, he goes astray.
"Oh dear, what a blow."
But never fear, he's landed near,
here at the Tatton show.
