This is an ornamental and aspirational garden, which suggests a second home that is a ‘place in the sun’ complete with the suggestion of a swimming pool.
A limited selection of plants provides strength and unity to the design, and a wooden slated boundary helps to give it an enclosed feel. The ornamental planting includes red-leaved Japanese maples and dome-shaped hebes.
