Forest Fusion is designed as a temperate forest environment, placed within an urban setting where neighbour walls are hidden, making it ideal for work or relaxation due to its seclusion.

The garden's focal point is a glass pod, which can be used for shelter and for viewing the rest of the garden. It has ‘Smart Glass’ technology that changes its tint to provide heat and light control. This structure contrasts with the uneven and natural planting, consisting of mainly ferns and other perennials and shrubs that thrive in damp, shady conditions, and Dickonsia tree ferns provide a bold architectural statement.

Designer Phillippa Probert is designing her first show garden at Tatton, after exhibiting previously in the Back to Back category, winning her first RHS Gold Medal last year.
