This garden symbolises a journey taken by a young person seeking growth and self-improvement. The journey culminates in a sense of achievement and renewed confidence for the future.

The entrance to the garden has a wild, chaotic style that represents the individual at the start of their journey. Several pathways symbolise the choices available. If the path into the garden is chosen, the journey begins and the support offered by The Prince’s Trust is accepted. From this point, the journey becomes easier and the garden becomes more organised, signifying the development of the individual.

The back of the garden offers areas for socialising, relaxing and reflecting on the journey taken. Future opportunities are symbolised by the golden wall glimpsed beyond the garden’s boundaries.

The fiery colours represent passion and energy, which are tempered by cool blues and purples at the start of the journey. The vibrant red acknowledges The Prince’s Trust and the support the Trust receives from the Cheshire Fire & Rescue Service. The garden is being rebuilt after the show at the Cheshire Fire & Rescue Service headquarters in Winsford.
