This garden looks back in time at the popularity of the parterre garden and illustrates the versatility of this genre regardless of space available.
It represents the beauty of flower combinations from the mid-1800s, the ornate beds of the 1900s through to the plantings inspired by iconic fashion designers of the 50s 60s and 70s. Plants have been selected for their colour, structure and performance and include a backdrop of evergreen jasmine.
