The winner of BBC Gardener of the Year 2006 returns to Tatton this year with an ornamental, exotic garden that celebrates the garden at Great Dixter and brings inspiration to the north of England. Instead of aiming to recreate the famous East Sussex garden, the designer echoes the main idea of blending an old courtyard setting with modern, exotic planting.

This garden is symbolic of the tenets of Freemasonry and aims to raise awareness of the presence and contribution of Freemasonry to the public. Essentially an area for relaxation and meditation, the garden is punctuated with Masonic symbolism, which also provides decoration to those who are unfamiliar.
