Gardening’s best gets down to earth at this year's show, so be ready to make the most of your garden. There’ll be ideas on how you can grow your own, enjoy healthy outdoor living and much, much more. Travelling to the show
Rail
Hampton Court and Kingston stations are approximately 30 minutes from London Waterloo, with frequent trains. The showground is a 15-minute walk or short ferry ride (£1.80 single*) from Hampton Court station or a 30-minute cruise from Kingston station (£4.70 single, £6.20 return*).

Underground & bus
Take the District Line to Richmond Underground station, then the R68 bus from Richmond to Hampton Court.

Parking
We recommend using the park and ride facilities. Frequent courtesy buses run all day between these facilities and Hampton Court station.
Apps Court Farm (Red Car Park) on the A3050 is for visitors arriving from the M25 (use J11) - pricing to be confirmed.
Old Tiffinians (Blue Car Park) on the A309 is for visitors travelling from central London, and costs £5 per day.
Parking at the showground is available at the Stud Gate Car Park (Black Car Park) on the A308 Hampton Court Road, and the Hampton Court Green Car Park (Green Car Park) opposite Hampton Court Palace. Pricing is to be confirmed
Parking
Public parking, including for orange/blue badge holders, is available in Battersea Park. Battersea Park is located outside the Transport for London congestion zone and is approximately 20 minutes’ walk from the show. Alternatively, a park and ride service is available.
Cycling
Bicycle racks will be available at the Thames Entrance.
Coaches
The coach park is on Hampton Court Green, opposite the Palace, 20-30 minutes’ walk to the showground (that includes crossing a footbridge).
Coach parking is free of charge. A Help the Aged mobility bus operates between the coach park on Hampton Green and the showground throughout each day.
Disabled visitors
Orange/blue badge holders may park in the showground car park. There will be a charge per day regardless of arrival time - price to be confirmed
Manual and electric wheelchairs are available for loan, but must be reserved in advance. For information please call 0845 260 7000 from 5 January 2009. Limited Availability. The closing date for booking is 3 July 2009.
Attendants cannot be provided but one companion is admitted free of charge per wheelchair user, visually impaired visitors or other person whose disability necessitates a carer.
Catering
The Allium Restaurant/Bistro opens from 11.30am – 3.30pm. To reserve a table, call 0845 260 7000 during office hours from 3 November 2008.
Limited availability; please book early to avoid disappointment.
Loch Fyne Champagne & Seafood Restaurant opens from 11am – 6pm.

Facilities
Bank, cloakroom, left luggage, plant crèche, pharmacy, and children’s crèche (2-9 years old, maximum stay two hours, first come first served basis) are available within the showground.
Catalogue information
Catalogues cost £4.50 (plus £1.40 p&p in advance). Catalogues can be ordered in advance by calling 0870 906 3791, when buying your tickets online or bought on the day. The last day for ordering catalogues in advance is 12 June 2008.
Please note that catalogues will be posted first class during the week before the show.

The showground
No animals admitted to the show, except for registered guide or assistance dogs.
Please note that this is a temporary, outdoor event on open parkland and is subject to varying weather and ground conditions. Although some temporary trackway is laid, much of the event is on open ground and care must be taken. We therefore advise that you check the weather forecast for the day of your visit, consider the nature of the event and the effects of any inclement weather on surface conditions, and wear suitable clothing and footwear. In extreme weather conditions, access may be restricted in the interest of safety.
Visitors will be subject to security searches.
