Whether you’re a keen grower, seasoned cook, or just love to get out and about, there’s a huge choice of activities to get stuck into.
There’s all sorts for green fingered, green minded foodies of every ability to enjoy, whatever the weather. You can shop, sample some tasty autumn treats, and watch and learn from our cookery and gardening experts.
Diary of Events
17 - 20 October: A Taste of Autumn
A four-day harvest celebration featuring:
- Over 20 food exhibitors selling quality farm produce including cheese, cider, beer, jams, cooking sauces, oils, pies, bread, cakes, nuts and much more
- Children’s activities include pumpkin carving and autumnal arts and crafts, as well as display of the winning entry for the ‘Very Vegetable Painting Competition’
- Gloriously colourful displays of fruit and vegetables from Wisley’s own Fruit and Trials Team will provide a stunning centre piece to the marquees
- Free RHS expert advice will be available on all four days
- Delicious cooking demonstrations from Wisley's chefs and talks on a variety of autumnal topics will take place in the Demonstration area
- Live music will fill the show each afternoon from 3pm
- The Wisley Shop and Plant Centre will also have a range of fruit trees and books on how to grow your own veg and cook delicious autumn recipes
