Patchworking Garden Project in DorkingThe largest network of gardening clubs in the UK - the scheme currently supports more than 3,000 groups.

Please note the Affiliated Societies year ends on the 31 January every year and from the 23 October this year we cannot accept any more applications until January 2018.


Eligible clubs

All gardening clubs and horticultural societies with an annual membership subscription are eligible to join the RHS Affiliated Societies scheme. Your club/society should have a remit to promote horticulture at a local level, should hold regular meetings and/or hold an annual show.


How to join the RHS Affiliated Societies

The RHS Affiliated Society year runs from 1 February to 31 January and there are no pro-rata rates. Any affiliation entered into, or any insurance purchased, during this period attracts the full subscription and premium. All rates are applicable to UK societies only and may be subject to change as of 1 February 2018. Societies based overseas incur an additional postage fee.

Please note: during the renewal period new applications for affiliation to the RHS will not be processed. Any applications received after 1 November 2017 will be processed in February 2018.
