RHS Raffle terms and conditions

 
  • The raffle is only open to all Great Britain residents aged 16 years or over, except employees or Trustees of the Promoter, their families, agents, or any third party directly associated with administration of the raffle
  • No tickets to be purchased by RHS staff or RHS Council members
  • No tickets must be sold to or by persons under 16 years of age; underage gambling is a criminal offence

  • You will be entered into the raffle by purchasing a raffle ticket. Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry
  • The raffle prizes and suppliers are listed on the raffle webpage
  • Sitting Spiritually terms and conditions – the prize includes free delivery to one address in mainland Great Britain and assembly at same address
  • Winners will be selected at random. The decision of the Promoter as to the winners will be final and no correspondence will be entered into
  • The winners will be notified by email, telephone or post (using details provided at entry) within two weeks of the closing date
  • The prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered
  • The Promoter reserves the right to replace the prizes with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter's control makes it necessary to do so
  • Data Protection: by entering the RHS Spring Raffle 2020, you consent to the processing by the RHS and our agents, suppliers and contractors of your personal data in accordance with these terms and conditions and the RHS Privacy Statement. We will only process that data (and will only permit our contractors and suppliers to process your data) for the purposes of the RHS Spring Raffle 2020 and to keep in touch with you to share news, information and special offers relating to RHS events, membership, products, services and fundraising including future raffles. We’ll never sell your data to any third party or allow them to use it for their own purposes
  • RHS Lottery: The Lottery is promoted for the benefit of the Royal Horticultural Society’s work. In the financial year 2019/20, proceeds from the RHS Lottery were £38,145.00. Of that 36.5% (£13,911.12) was spent on our charitable work, 26.4% (£10,080.45) on prizes and 37.1% (£14,153.43) on expenses. The Lottery additionally raised more than £10,000 given by players as donations to the RHS. We would like to thank all the players and donors who helped us to raise these funds. We have now stopped the raffle style lottery and will be launching a new online weekly lottery in 2021
