  • Genus Deutzia are deciduous shrubs, often with flaking bark, with simple, opposite leaves and star-shaped or cupped white or pink flowers, sometimes fragrant, in terminal or axillary clusters

  • Details 'Iris Alford' is an upright, deciduous shrub to 1.5m tall with roughly hairy, ovate to lance-shaped leaves and purple shoots. In early summer, flowers up to 2.5cm across, white inside and purple-pink on the reverse with white margins on the petals, emerge from deep purple-pink buds
