The round to heart-shaped, bluish-green juvenile leaves to 5cm long and wide are usually retained on mature plants; rarely, adult oval to lance-shaped dull grey-blue leaves up to 10cm long are produced. Cream-coloured, fluffy flowers are borne in groups of three
