It is included in an evolving list of plants carefully researched and chosen by RHS experts. Divided into 3 groups these lists, linked below, are maintained by a team of RHS staff and are reviewed annually.
I. lobata is a twining climber up to 5m tall, usually grown as an annual, with three-lobed leaves. The crimson-flushed stems bear one-sided racemes of small, tubular, dark red flowers which fade to orange and then a creamy yellow in summer
'Fastigiata Aureomarginata' is a large, compact evergreen shrub, columnar when young, later broadly columnar, the erect shoots with spreading, yellow-margined leaves
'Topolino' is a dwarf Trumpet daffodil to 15cm, the solitary flowers with cream perianth segments and lemon yellow trumpet
'Pennine Magic' is a half-hardy perennial to 1m in height, with cream flowers 7.5cm in width, reverse tinged light yellow
A. tabularis is a vigorous perennial to 1.5m in height, with rounded leaves to 100cm across, and small cream flowers
'White Allouise' is a half-hardy perennial to 1.2m in height, with lobed foliage and creamy-white flowers to 13cm across, the inner florets tinged pale yellow
'Innocence' is a clump-forming plant, to 110cm, with upright to arching foliage and distinctive flowerheads forming a narrow, cylindrical shape with all the red to yellow florets opening at once; long flowering period
L. fragrantissima is a bushy deciduous shrub to 2m, with simple, ovate leaves to 6cm long, and pairs of very fragrant, 2-lipped cream flowers 1cm long in winter and early spring, sometimes followed by dull red berries
N. lobularis is a variable species with upright, grey-green leaves, up to 50cm long, and nodding flowers, up to 7cm across, with yellow trumpets and narrow, twisted, cream petals, produced in early spring
'Aureus' is an upright, medium-sized deciduous shrub with ovate leaves bright yellow when young, later greener. Flowers 2.5cm in width, creamy-white, with a strong, heavy scent, in early summer
