Crown Princess Margareta has arching stems that can be left to produce a 1.5m high shrub, or trained as a 3.5m high climbing rose. The flowers, produced in summer and autumn, are fragrant, fully-petalled rosettes in apricot-orange
'Blue Eclipse' is a medium-sized deciduous climber, up to 3 metres high, with divided green leaves and large bell-like flowers of deep blue with a white edge on the outside and white inside, followed by fluffy seedheads
'Subpumilum' is a compact deciduous fern to 10cm tall, with glossy black stalks bearing pedately divided fronds composed of fresh green, close-packed oblong segments
'Gallery Pablo' is a compact plant to 50cm, with light coral-red flowerheads, the florets shading to apricot-yellow towards the base
A. thomsonii is a clump-forming perennial, to 1m tall, with oval, toothed leaves, up to 10cm long, on hairy stems. Flowerheads, up to 5cm across, comprising lavender-blue rays and a central yellow disk, are held on slender branches from late summer into autumn
'Gerda' is a deciduous shrub or small tree, with deep purple foliage from spring to autumn and flat heads of small, pinkish-purple flowers, followed by purple-black berries
'Alison Taylor' grows to 60cm in height, with up to 5 flowers per stem, the standards ochre yellow fading to cream in the centre, the falls bright lemon yellow edged with ochre yellow
'Maiden's Blush' is a trailing perennial with lance-shaped leaves that emerge pink, becoming green; small white flowers open sporadically through the year, but it is not free-flowering
'Ashby' is a bushy plant growing to 90cm tall and wide at maturity. The lobed, scented leaves are mid- to dark-green and flowers are a pink-purple colour with dark central markings on the upper petals
'Claire Maxine' is most notable for its gleaming, puckered foliage, mid-green, reddening in winter. Flowers are deep pink but sometimes hidden beneath the leaves; flowers mostly in spring with sporadic flowers produced through to October
