It is included in an evolving list of plants carefully researched and chosen by RHS experts. Divided into 3 groups these lists, linked below, are maintained by a team of RHS staff and are reviewed annually.
'Martina' is a compact perennial with dark green, finely divided foliage and dense flattened heads of yellow flowers that fade little
'Gold Plate' is an herbaceous perennial to 1.2m tall, with feathery green leaves and large flat heads of small, deep golden-yellow flowers on erect leafy stems
'Love Parade' is an upright, clump-forming herbaceous perennial to about 60cm, with narrow, dark green, saw-edged leaves and flat-topped sprays of soft pink flowers from early summer to early autumn
'Perry's White' is a herbaceous perennial, 60-100cm high, with rather floppy stems, undivided, narrow, dark green leaves, and loose clusters of double, pompom-shaped, pure white flowerheads, from early summer to early autumn
'Taygetea' is a variable perennial forming a spreading clump of divided, grey-green leaves, with erect stems bearing flat heads of pale yellow flowers in summer
A. millefolium is a spreading stoloniferous perennial with narrow, finely pinnately dissected leaves and small, cream or pink flowerheads in flat heads in summer
The Pearl Group are seed-raised and variable plants with semi-double to fully double white flowers, borne on erect leafy stems to 90cm tall in summer
'The Pearl' is a vigorous perennial forming a spreading clump, with narrow dark green leaves and pure white, double flower-heads
'Lucky Break' is a tall, free-flowering perennial with divided, grey-green leaves and flattened flower-heads in a range of yellow tints
A. nobilis subsp. neilreichii is a running herbaceous perennial 30-50cm high with erect stems, usually unbranched, feathery, dissected silvery grey leaves, and pale creamy yellow flowerheads, fading to creamy white, 10cm across, in summer
