E. californica is a vigorous bushy, spreading annual to 30cm, with finely divided blue-green leaves and orange, yellow or red flowers to 7cm across in summer
'Bushfire' is a bushy plant to 50cm, with bright red flowers, each petal with a dark blotch
R. mulliganii is a vigorous large rambler to 6m, with glossy foliage, purplish when young. Large clusters of banana-scented white flowers 5cm in width, with prominent yellow stamens in summer. Small orange-red hips in autumn
'Heavy Metal' is a rhizomatous perennial grass forming clumps of upright metallic blue-grey leaves, turning yellow in autumn. Broad, diffuse, weeping panicles to 50cm long of tiny purple-green spikelets in early autumn
'Safranvogel' is a reasonably small cultivar with low, arching foliage; height to 80cm, spread to 90cm. The elliptic to diamond-shaped flower heads are held well above the leaves, and have a delicate colouring of soft peach-pink, getting paler from bud to flower as they open
Opal is a semi-evergreen perennial with ovate leaves heavily blotched and speckled with silver; clear pale blue flowers open from pale pink buds in spring on stems to 35cm tall
'Gilt Edge' is an evergreen tree of dense, broadly columnar habit, with dark green, oblong leaves with a fine, pale yellow border, and saucer-shaped white flowers, 5cm across, in early to mid-summer
'Tremalzo' is a very slow-growing dwarf evergreen shrub to 10cm tall, with narrow, dark green leaves and pure white flowers with a tiny yellow eye, opening in late spring
'Burrow Silver' is an evergreen perennial with narrow, cream-edged, green leaves and large, showy clusters of similarly variegated flower bracts, containing small green-yellow, flowers from early spring to mid summer
Myrtilloides Group is a dwarf, evergreen shrub forming a low, spreading mound up to 40cm high. The pinky-purple, thimble-shaped flowers appear on long stems all over the plant in late spring
