H. fortunei var. albopicta f. aurea makes a compact clump of broad, heart-shaped leaves 20-25cm in length, creamy-yellow, fading to dull green, with impressed veins. Funnel-shaped mauve flowers are borne on leafy stems to 75cm in length
'Pink Domino' is a perennial to 1.2m in height, with a basal rosette of dark green, wrinkled leaves and erect spikes of dark-eyed, deep rose-pink flowers 3cm in width
'Crowborough' is a deciduous perennial (evergreen in mild areas) to 1m in height, with rich green, arrow-shaped leaves and funnel-shaped white spathes to 15cm in length, with a prominent yellow spadix
Kilimanjaro is a pyramidal shrub with spreading, layered branches clothed in tapered, deeply-veined dark green leaves which turn red-purple in autumn. Dense spherical white flowerheads, produced in abundance during late spring, age to pale pink and are followed by masses of deep red berries maturing to black. Additional flowers are borne in late summer. Winner of the RHS Chelsea Flower Show Plant of the Year in 2015
'Max Riley' is a half-hardy perennial to 1.2m in height, with long-stemmed, bright yellow flowers 11cm in width from late summer
M. laxa is a vigorous, woody, twining climber with glossy, evergreen, oval leaves 5-10cm long. In late summer and early autumn it produces sprays of 5 to 15 tubular, strongly fragrant, white or cream flowers 5-9cm across with broad petal lobes
'Woodbridge' is a medium-sized, upright deciduous shrub with dark, lobed leaves. Flowers to 10cm in width, single, deep pink, with dark red centres
V. chingii is a lax, open, medium-sized, semi-evergreen shrub with narrow leaves and short, drooping sprays of fragrant, pink and white flowers in spring, followed by blackish-red berries
'Coronation Ruby' is a hardy perennial with evergreen, glaucous foliage and stems to 45cm, bearing clove-scented, double flowers 5cm in width, with pale pink petals, zoned and laced with deep maroon
F. sylvatica is a large, vigorous deciduous tree with a broad, spreading crown. Leaves broadly elliptic, yellow-green in spring, rich russet-brown in autumn. Flowers small, green, followed by bristly fruits
