To apply for a paid position search for the job in the current vacancies section and then click on the ‘Apply online’ button. If you have previously applied online for another job, enter your login details. If you have not previously applied, click on ‘New user registration’ to register yourself as a new applicant.
All applicants must complete the online RHS application process. As part of this you will need to upload your CV and covering letter (as one document) within the online application process. Your covering letter should highlight how you match the knowledge, experience and skills requirements of the role.
Have I missed the closing date?
Applications received after the closing date will not be considered. We reserve the right on occasions to close vacancies early, therefore we recommend you apply as soon as possible.
What happens next?
The recruiting line manager will consider received and fully completed applications. Following shortlisting they will contact the successful applicants and invite them to interview.
When will I hear if I have been shortlisted?
If your application is successful, you will hear from us within four weeks of the closing date. If you have not heard from us within four weeks, please be advised that we have not shortlisted your application on this occasion.
Interview structure and content
Our interviews are a mixture of competence and technical questions with practical assessments. In the event you are required to prepare anything specific you will be advised in good time.
What happens after the interview?
Once interviews have been held, the recruiting manager will offer the position to the successful candidate, and the unsuccessful candidates that attended interviews will be informed after the offer of appointment has been accepted.
Do we offer feedback?
Unfortunately, due to the volume of applications we receive, we do not give individual feedback to candidates that are not invited to interview.
