The practical-based qualification develops the essential skills needed in horticulture.
The theory-based qualifications help learners by assessing their knowledge of the principles which underpin horticultural practices.
Those who successfully complete all the necessary units for both level 2 theory-based qualifications above will be awarded the RHS Level 2 Certificate in the Principles of Horticulture (total 28 credits, which equates to 280 learning hours).

Learners who successfully complete all the necessary units for every one of the level 2 qualifications listed above, will be awarded the RHS Level 2 Diploma in the Principles and Practices of Horticulture (total 43 credits, which equates to 430 learning hours).
