Increase your knowledge with work-based training in a real garden setting
Duration: 1 year
Eight-week rotations through a number of distinct horticultural areas which include: fruit & vegetable, Lady Anne’s Garden, Formal Garden and nursery.
The DHP course also comprises a detailed lecture and masterclass programme, and students complete various pieces of assessed coursework.
Students also complete a number of short practical-based national qualifications, which include:

Applicants are expected as a minimum to hold a National Certificate in Horticulture, an RHS Level 2 in Horticulture, or similar. Additionally applicants should also have at least six months of practical horticultural experience in a professional environment.
