Will Hembree

Will, who majored in Horticulture and is a graduate from the University of Georgia, will be studying botanic garden operations and ornamental horticulture during his year in the UK.

By spending time at a variety of British gardens, including those at RHS Wisley & Rosemoor, Sir Harold Hillier Gardens, Hestercombe House & the Royal Botanic Gardens at Edinburgh, Will hopes to expand his knowledge of ornamentals and learn more about horticulture professional practices from a variety of viewpoints.

After the conclusion of his fellowship year in the UK, Will is pursuing his M.S. in Horticulture for Ornamental Plant Breeding at North Carolina State University in Raleigh.
