I love the diverse collections at the Lindley library

I have worked in the Lindley Library’s London branch for seven years, starting as a Picture Researcher and now as Images Curator, responsible for the Library’s digital and analogue photograph collections. My winding road to the Lindley began in public libraries and archives, then while studying for a Foundation in Fine Art and after this a joint honours degree in History and History of Art, Architecture and Design I began working as a picture researcher in a specialist architectural photo library.

Other picture research work followed and also a move into Museums with time spent with the lovely collections at the National Maritime Museum and National Museums of Science and Industry.  I love the diverse collections at the Lindley, especially its astonishing records of the  personalities in 19th and 20th century gardening. My mission is getting these out there for people to see!
